The power cord has been replaced. Tubes are strong and reception is good from where I am. Also, the backboard is in bad shape as shown pics. As the picture shows, bottom of cabinet has a massive piece missing.

Still very clear!, The knobs are original and do not have any chips or cracks. The dial scale cover is in good condition with minimal scuffs. This 1947 Federal radio model 1040T is similar to the Phil transit ones of same body style. Shipping is via FedEx Ground or UPS only.

Fortunately it is not noticeable when displayed. The dial and speaker are in great shape. This unit has been electronically restored but for obvious reasons I am listing it as PASRT/RESTORE. Your area may depend on several factors.
