Details:

The chassis is in decent,clean condition with no rust as you can see. As you can see in the photos,the condition of this radio is nice throughout. It was redone by Ham to working condition. Powered it up and played very well all controls worked as expected.

It has three speakers; two of them look like small electrostatic tweeters. This is quite the set. It has been redone to working condition your Ham Tech and as the video shows it plays very well with just built imam FM antennas or using a length of wire for short wave antenna. Heres a seldom found 1957West German Grundig Majestic 2077 built for export to USA.

All of the push buttons work as does tuning eye. It drew a nominal 48W power at 115V input. This is one of a number of vintage tube radios that I have sold starting last Fall and Winter to happy enthusiasts. Here are some specs.

I do need to point out that there is some minor veneer damage/repair as shown in photos. It has AM, FM, SW bands as well tone controls and a tuning eye. Although this set is clearly working as shown in the video there are fragile coils, and other components so the may have to begone through once it arrives As such must be sold. The wood cabinet is solid, good condition as shown in the photos.

I don't know exactly what Durham technician did to this set as there was no note in the back of it. Condition is good throughout.The dial clean, with no obvious major defects. Grundig Majestic 2077 USA is a 6-tube export model with FM, SW and BC bands. Unlike many others I do not charge you for boxes or packing materials.

I have sold a lot of radios this way and they all arrived in good shape and working. Please look closely at all photos and video as they are an integral part of. Wave bands: FM 87.5 - 108 MHz, SW 5.9 16 MW AM Broadcast Band 510 1620 kHz. They all were from the estate of a ham enthusiast who rebuilt communication receivers over years along with many other tube type radios.
