This unit - the 1941 version was plagued by filament voltage issues causing rapid output tube and dropping resistor burn-out, burnt/dried wiring an electrically hazardous battery switchover design resulting in very low serviceability; thus, these model's are not just exceptionally rare, but collectable for their rolltop portable cabinet.
