Details:

It works remarkably well for its vintage receiving many AM stations on a simple long wire. After replacing the cap and removing an in-line cord switch that was not original, we fired it up everything worked. It is large and heavy. SW / PB bands work too but could benefit from a full alignment.

Includes data sheets. We restored it electrically, replaced grill cloth and performed a rough BC IF scale alignment. The repair was incorrectly done, and it had not been serviced since. They are some online for $35 and up.

We acquired this 90-year-old 8-tube radio for the Egyptian motif cabinet. Upon inspection, we deduced it had been serviced once to replace a failed filter cap. ANTIQUE sold AS-IS for use, display or collection, not available parts.
