Details:

Vintage 1936 Zenith 5-S-29 tombstone radio in excellent condition. It is also missing a wood en oval piece or ring in the top of front radio. Appears to have been re-finished and given a new grill cloth dial pointer. Second pix shown plugged in.

The dials are a little scratchy but everything works great otherwise. It receives the standard broadcast band and two short wave bands. From the web: Zenith 5-S-29 1936 is a 5-tube ac superhero circuit radio in fairly ornate tombstone upright cabinet. It has the smaller 'airplane' type dial with a 'split second' hand which preceded larger black sets in approximate dimensions:- 18 inches tall 12 wide 8 deep instructions on how to work radio are included see last picture.

It features a tuned pre-selector for the broadcast band no RF amplifier, but has three gang tuning capacitor.
