A small amount of corrosion on the spring, but easy to clean, i've never messed with it because its bothered me and I keep forgetting do that. As soon you hear it, are immediately transported back to the early 1980 's. It works on batteries and a plug that are provided for you, the not included though as I don't want to ship them.

Not that its any louder than other radio, just something about the materials used and way made. If you are handy than fix it. This box looks outstanding and shiny gets too much attention when you take it out. Outside it travels down the block.

Just one of those glitches. It resonates off of everything around you filling up the space.

100 works, but I recommend having the belts replaced if you plan to use this a great deal summer simply because of age, it does play tapes fine and dandy. Doesn't bother me so I use it as is. The sound vibrates off of every nook and cranny bounces solid object. As all the best electronics were made in japan back 1980probably still are so was this amazingly clean boom box.

No doubt I will miss this stereo when it is gone. I've gotten a lot of good use from it over the past couple years and now its your turn. Very, very clean. Everybody asks to buy it, its a serious conversation piece and this particular model is extremely rare.

The sound is phenomenal. Just try to find even a picture of it anywhere online, good luck with that. And then theres the sound quality, its way, way different than any modern day radio.

The on off switch sometimes has to be turned line first before radio. If not than live with it.

If you truly want a cool item can definitely get lot of pleasure out this summer and one day sell it for more than bought for, something rare in excellent condition, here is.
