It does have static as with most older model radios, but seems to be in great condition for its aGe. It has been tested and the radio works don't know how to work weather band but everything switches as should, antenna is in great shape, batteries does power cord. It is from the late 60's. This is a Ge portable 7 band instant weather radio with handle and power cord.

Great for a collector or to be used in power outage.
