SUMMARY: This unit has good bones for a rehab project. Model: 911-D. The unit was powered using an external cord after the rear panel removed and connected to power input pins. A Mauriac was utilized to gradually apply power the unit.

The clock maintained accurate time throughout testing. Also has phonograph input on rear of cabinet. Uses#44 dial lamp. Has a built-in loop antenna and AC appliance receptacle on rear of cabinet which is controlled from the clock.

Static was audible when adjusting the tuning knob, though no channels could be tuned in. INFO: The GE 911-D is an AC operated 5 tube AM receiver with electric clock. The power cord on the rear of unit has been cut off. The clock face and tuning dial covers are in good shape with not major scratches.

The paper cone of the speaker is in good shape with no tears or holes. The interior of the unit is clean and all tubes are present. Broadcast Receiver / Clock Radio. The cost of this unit in its first year sales is unknown.

All of the writing and labels on clock front and tuning dial is legible can be read. INSPECTION: The exterior plastic casing is in good shape with some minor surface scratches. There are no burn marks or smells emitting from the unit. TESTING: The unit did not undergo comprehensive testing; however, limited bench testing was conducted.

Designed test and operate on a table or work bench top. All of the buttons and knobs on the front are missing. All tubes illuminated as expected. The AM band frequency tuning range is 535 to 1620kHz.
