Vintage Allied a-2515 shortwave ham radio communications receiver. I plugged in gets plenty of static and tunes, no further testing done. Just in from estate, wife said he used it as a daily radio, since passed. Good cosmetics.

All controls are dirty and need cleaned, the display lights work switch to turn them off also works. However saying all that, old electronics are a final sale. As found, as-is, just due to the nature of them corners need q-tip cleaned.

Use zoom, nice unit. I do believe if you clean controls and put on a good antenna this would work fine. This is a nice, not butchered unit that would be great on any bench, these are indeed getting harder to find in nice shape.
