Shes of quality, made in Japan and has some weight to it. This little gem is a workhorse. The only flaw is the set screw holding back cover on missing, however into place and stays put without. Nice design and loud sound.
The handle is metal, as well the tuning knob. Plays great on 4 C batteries, not included. Weighing in at almost 4 lbs without batteries. No cracks or chips and a good telescoping antenna.
