Light behind radio dial lights. There is an inner clock dial that also turns sets the alarm time. The cord looks original and is still in good shape. The shaft can be pulled out manually and the knob put back on to set alarm pushed in.
There is also a 60 minute sleep timer knob on the bottom of dial that can be set to shut off radio in number minutes. See pictures for the condition of finish. The knob on the alarm set is a bit to loose for pulling out lever. It looks to be the same as CL175.
The alarm timer works but just takes a bit to come on as the tubes need warm up. Clock and radio both work. Radio is in good shape considering its age. Note that this is the original CL164, not CL164B has a different decorative grill.
Clock can be set and runs. I think the knob could be glued onto shaft but will leave that to buyer do. It is kind of a mahogany rosewood color.
