This is normal. Please also note that shipping can cause things to shift inside the package and could affect performance. Shipping costs have gone crazy and in some cases make no sense. The radio plays well as seen in the video with smooth tuning and clear volume.

I have HUNDREDS of vintage radios and decided to let some go - make space for more. I am making every effort to get the video posted. Note: This is THE VERY radio seen on Radio museum site. While this radio presents and plays well here is a very small depression on the top, middle rear some markings I could not remove see photos. Overall the radio is Nice and Clean inside out.

Seriously though I have decided to let some go due space constrictions. Radio weights about 4 pounds shipping higher and measures 12 x 6.5 7 inches. As is typical of AM you can hear more stations at night. I will do what can to keep the cost low but in mind larger packaging also affects shipping.

Any questions or concerns please let me know. The electrolytic and paper capacitors have been replaced to help this radio play another 65 years. Combined shipping MAY be available due to the size weight. If you noticed I did not rotate the tuner fully to right it is only because there are no stations in this area at time of day made video.

This model not often seen here especially this nice and I almost do want to part with it. If you are new to tube radios there is a brief warm up period when first turn the radio on. Only the radio is being offered. I will always try to save you money on shipping if possible.

Some of these items are from my personal stock/collection and some may be consignment. Sorry there is no manual or original box. NO breaks or cracks. My apologies for some flashes and reflections in the photos.

Power cord is original and good condition. A few flea bites front top, left and a other fine scratches as would be expected on something over 65 years old. The bottom label is original with a small amount missing. My stock/collection exists in a smoke free environment.

Difficult to see unless at the right angle and lighting. BTW: We keep a full inventory of new and used vacuum tubes. It uses six vacuum tubes and all the were checked replaced as necessary. Still, the cabinet is clean and does shine display well.
