Condition and cosmetic notes: I cleaned the unit carefully lubricated volume, bass, treble controls with Exit F5 so they operate smoothly. Classic Sony analog tuning. Verified tuning, controls, and audio output. FM / MW SW bands.

In normal indoor lighting, those marks are less noticeable, and they do not affect use. Radio powers on. There are also a couple of faint drip-like marks on the lower right corner tuning window that noticeable in direct sunlight. This is a great piece for collector or anyone who wants functional vintage Sony radio with strong shelf appeal and real character.

Carry handle. Telescoping antenna. Aesthetically, it is not a perfect mint collector piece, but still very attractive and desirable example of the model. Polished tuning window.

Large front speaker. Function selector. Cosmetically, there are some blemishes, light discoloration, and normal age-related wear in a few areas. This is a Sony ICF-88 one of Sony's classic vintage multiband receivers from the golden era analog radio design.

Lubricated volume, bass, and treble controls with Exit F5. Bass and treble sliders. The tuning window was polished with plastic polish and presents well overall. Cleaned exterior surfaces.

Shipping note. Work performed. It has the kind of funky 70s/early vintage look that really stands out on a shelf, and it remains desirable piece for collectors, shortwave listeners, Sony fans. The antenna extends and retracts smoothly.

It is clean, working, and well cared for, with honest cosmetic wear consistent age. I pack vintage electronics carefully with padding on all sides so it arrives safely. The speaker plays clearly. Tuning dial and controls respond normally.
