Both knobs turn fully although there is some resistance when turning. It has the backing which many other radios from this line do not have backs anymore. Solid as is, please see photos for exterior condition. I have not taken the back off to inspect tubes/number of tubes.

This radio is structurally solid with no cracks in the body but does show signs of wear and has some staining on front lining. The radio turns on and will start to make static noise after several seconds.
