Plastic is very shiny with only light marks of use. Radio fits tightly and snugly in the case. How to use the Trans Oceanic as a navigational aid including brief section on Radio direction finder when in marine. This model has the long antenna wavered built sturdily into case.

This Zenith 12 Band Trans-Oceanic royal R7000 is in very nice condition, with its original log and a beautiful custom mahogany mount. This Radio is from an old estate, where it had been very well cared for may be one of the better examples around. Face and grill have no dents. There are 12 photos showing its details and condition.

Radio weighs about 18 lbs not including the mahogany mount - tone is surprising very deep and mellow it sounds as if should be coming from best wood en cabinet hi-firs of 60's. Low starting bid comes with a very substantial and beautifully made custom mahogany protective wood en mounting case, which was used when it onboard large sailing yacht.

Labels on the bottom of Radio are model R7000 chassis 2wmr70 120v 60 hertz . Still has the original very nice embossed leatherette Zenith Trans-Oceanic 52 page book fitting neatly inside drop front panel - addressing times of best reception, operating instructions, weather warnings and how to receive shortwave, am FM broadcasts. All the leatherette panels are sound and tight. Has the bf for serious Sw usage.

The quality of fit and finish is fantastic. From an estate, it was always cared for.
