Details:

I find it odd that the tape deck would not work but everything else works great and unit is in such clean condition inside out sure what issue is, whether functional or purely user error on my part. See the photos.

It doesn't turn on when switched to the tape function and no button leds light up control panel for deck, none of buttons seem work. Tested with a power cable not included and all radio bands work well, as do volume eq function sliders for the audio. The tape deck is not functional, but I could've been doing something wrong during my cursory testing. Battery compartment is extremely clean with zero signs of corrosion or use.

This boombox is in super clean condition overall, a true survivor. Vintage Jvc RC-M60JW in very clean working condition. This is a great addition to any vintage boombox collection or multi-wave radio arsenal. Both speakers work and sound great.
