Details:

The antenna is in great condition and the minor curve unnoticed, need light cleaning to make it even smoother fold, I left unbothered. This is the legendary GX600 version with 5 Bands: National Panasonic hand picked parts for this model and hence it has a superior build quality. The light still works. This is not the Cougar Radio version of National Panasonic which extremely easy to find, neither this 6 Band.

FM has superb reception. The antenna is in good condition, there a tiny unnoticeable curve the whip which you can straighten out but I didn want to touch it. The headphones work fine. All the knobs and toggle buttons work, tinning battery meter works great.

Functionality: this radio was tested on batteries. The LW/MW/SW bands worked great at night due to low signal noise and I live in a valley surrounded by the mountains. Also, this is the model that started 6 Band line and Cougar Radio with exact same face large speaker. This is a 5 Band version as you can see next to the GX600 marking.

Other than these, I did not notice anything else. Please let me know if you want to take specific pictures. The ferret antenna rotates fine and folds normal. The on and off timer works normal.

Up for sale is one of a kind ultra rare Radio, collectors dream. The front Steele panel has some discoloration and that is not due to any physical damage, it just did over the years was stored properly. The sound is great and does not fade.
