The battery compartment is clean and cover present. I don't really know how to use all the controls on this radio tune in SW so that could be part of problem. Picks up lots of stations clearly.
Shipping buyer pays. I got one station very faintly on the MW, but that was all.
Before I get to that, it has great reception on FM. All other knobs and switches are present and appear to be functioning.
The dial light does not. Made in japan. There are three switches below the tuning dial that missing their little plastic knobs.
Cosmetically, there is dirt in the nooks and crannies of radio. Includes ac power cord.
The tuning meter and digital read out both work. The top couple sections of antenna are broken off.
