There are bass, treble controls, back light button, fine tuning control, separate dials for fm, and am,sw,Le with knobs. This radio was built to last with its aluminum handle, brushed metal face plate and overall very sturdy construction inside out. It is capable of putting out 3-7 watts power depending on source.

9-10mhz long wave khz. This radio covers fm MHz, am khz, shortwave 5. This is a radio I find not particular weaknesses to it performs top notch in all bands.

Servicing consisted of: all electrolytic capacitors replaced with quality Nichiren controls serviced cleaned including push buttons tuner lubrication points attended to, which assures smooth operation in bands and modes dial back lights complete thorough check radio alignment to assure top performance necessary adjustments performed were very minor. Audio is also equally impressive due to the amplifier and large speaker in radio - it has a inside. This is a true DX radio and pulls across the entire dial strongly in am, or shortwave bands day night.

It is capable of running from 6 volts dc to 12 depending on power input source which leads the various amplifier modes this radio has offer. This radio will run off external dc power, 5 cells or via car power which I do not have the adapters for. Up for consideration is a completely serviced working great 1968 national Panasonic RF-895L 4 band am, fm, shortwave long wave 12 transistor radio.

Radio fully cleaned detailed inside and out cosmetically this is an very overall good condition. This radio will operate off 5 cells, or external dc power which I also include a ac adapter with the shown not pictured. One note however, long wave is not used in the USA while it very much alive I did receive any broadcasts on. This radio is guaranteed to be as described - one completely gone through, restored working great Panasonic RF-895L 4 band am, fm, Le, sw 12 transistor that remains in overall good condition functional.

Fair reserve put in place, may consider sale if not met. Performance wise - this indeed is a super sensitive radio with excellent fm band good AFC lock in also def eatable, superb am equally great shortwave.
