Otherwise, its just static or quiet. I have got it to work somewhat properly by gently tapping on the AM/FM button. It only picks up a couple of radio stations, and they're extremely quiet. But I don't know much about these units.

Fairly clean battery compartment. Even with the volume fully turned up, you can barely hear them. There is a piece of foam that has dry rotted but doesn't interfere with the unit powering on. For repair/Parts.

The only issue is that its not picking up radio stations properly. All knobs and dials function as they should. The antenna is still attached and working. In excellent condition cosmetically.
