Details:

One of the stereo speakers is not putting out sound but from still sounds OK by itself and wake to buzzer or radio alarm function doesn't seem be working. Sounds like most clock radios, since two speakers are rare anyway. But it works. Its a common size handy electronics person can figure it out or buy new one.

I took it apart and cleaned inside out, sprayed tuner cleaner is all of the function buttons, tuner, volume control. The FM band antenna is not great. I cleaned the cassette player rubber roller and head. No wires are disconnected and it seems to be in perfect shape.

The clock, am FM radio, and cassette player all function correctly. It has a snooze sensor bar and automatic dimming at night. The weight and advanced options for era tell me this was a high end purchase clock radio at time model RK-371E, is very good shape. It does have two problems.

Sold is as condition. Meriton is rare to find anymore. It was a subsidiary of Sony that selling from, what historical info I can find this is nice piece if you don't need the alarm and mind one speaker. The speaker that is not working a mystery.

This is a late 70s high end digital clock radio. The lighted radio tuner works fine too.
