Includes the original dial-o-map station locator, operators guide books, a retractable electric plug, and 6 -4' expandable antenna this model stayed in production, with minor changes, until end of o tube era it is unlikely that famous family radios will ever be resurrected though there strong following most series consumer radio gear. Selling as is for parts repair today the trans-oceanic has become a popular radio of both collectors and non-collectors alike.

In the spring of 1954, 600 series was introduced with its 'slide-rule' type dial and a mains supply cord which coils inside set on spring-loaded reel.
