The compartment is nice and clean. The only issue I found was it missing ac cord compartment cover on back. This bid is for a vintage model TK-2653 Candle ac dc solid state 26 transistor portable radio in good condition.

Tested and works fine, good sound. Nice working radio. Take 6 batteries. I did not test the ac power.
