This is a completely gone through radio which was serviced month or so back and has been super reliable, great performing am.

This radio pulls excellent across the entire am broadcast band with sensitivity and DX reaching capabilities that few radios can achieve, its 3 gang tuner, trf stage, 2 if stages. Item is guaranteed to be as described - one fully gone through, serviced working great 100 operational Motorola ranger 8 transistor am radio. Overall cosmetics remain good on this example, the front cover is missing from one, but otherwise it complete. The inside of radio is super clean.

All controls operate as they should, with no dead spots or crackles noises. The push button for low battery indicator works as it should audio drops if batteries are. This particular radio has been completely gone through - new electrolytic capacitors, full control servicing, cleaned inside and out, battery compartment serviced, tuner lubrication points attended to, re-aligned to regain performance of hot performing trf am. There are no appearances to indicate that batteries were left leak in this one.

This radio operates superb with excellent audio performance, playing strong, loud and clear if so desired. Up for consideration is one completely, gone through Motorola X31N-1 am 8 transistor radio, the ranger.
