Necessary repairs have been made to the chassis: tubes tested and replaced as needed, power supply filter capacitors replaced, tone control panel shielded-cable dial lamps controls cleaned, cord with a 3-wire grounded which provides chassis ground for good reception without having run separate wire. But if theres an issue please let me know, we'll work it out.

It plays beautifully with un distorted full well-balanced sound and plenty of room-filling volume, very pleasant to listen. The cabinet is in excellent vintage condition keep mind it 77 years old, finish good and there are no cracks or separation. So if you hear some buzzing, start shutting things off. Built-in antenna works well for am, and stronger sw broadcasts an external is usually needed good shortwave reception, a length of wire at least 7 ft long, longer better, connected to screw terminal 'a' on the back panel.

Reception is excellent, I live in the Rochester NY area and was able to receive all local stations as well buffalo, Canada, Chicago at night, dozens of from one end dial other.

Has am and 2 shortwave bands plus automatic tuning for push-buttons to the left of dial which can be 'tuned' your choice stations. Because of the age this radio I can't offer a warranty or return. This is a heavy radio 29 lbs packed and needs to be packaged carefully.
