Details:

Original knobs, original pointers, buzzer and cover, tap switch, contacts. The cabinet finish is original, with scattered marks and nicks consistent age normal handling, but no signs of abuse or neglect. A marvel of miniaturization, the CN-113 was designed to be used on ships and especially submarines, where space tight but high quality radio reception critical. The wiring is also original, with no re-wiring, re-soldering, repairs or modifications.

The Brandes headset dates to roughly the same time period as radio, and like radio it still works. There are slight differences between the two radios on left side of panel binding post placement, location and length detector, lack a phone jack 113A, but interior circuits similar if not same. The original NESCO data plate is in excellent condition. The cabinet is original, and the chassis clean, as you can see in photographs.

Amazingly enough, the radio still works, but its output is noisy, and its certainly not a set you'd want to use for DX-ING or listening ball game. Condition of this example is very good throughout. Although the radio measures just 17 x 7 6, it has almost all of features found on a Marconi 106, but its 70 percent smaller and fraction weight. Although the CN-113A was a factory modification of CN-113, I'm not exactly sure how two radios differ.

Coils are clean with no stains, loose wire, issues. The radios small, tightly compacted, and electrically robust tuning mechanism is complete original.
