Condition of this example is excellent throughout. The radios small, tightly compacted, and electrically robust tuning mechanism is complete original. A fraction of the weight. The cabinet finish is original, with scattered marks and nicks consistent age normal handling, but no signs of abuse or neglect.

The wiring is also original, with no re-wiring, re-soldering, repairs or modifications. Although the tuner measures just 12 x 7 5, it has almost all of features found on Wireless Specialty IP-5 but its roughly 80 percent smaller and tipping scales at 9 pounds, 4 oz. Although the exact production numbers of this set are unknown there no data plates or manufacturer tags on any CN-112s that have been discovered so far, its believed fewer than two dozen them were made, and some collectors speculate number may actually be just half. Coils are clean with no stains, loose wire, issues.

The cabinet is original, and the chassis clean, as you can see in photographs. Its a rare bird and marvelous one. Although I typically see thousands of antique radios during any given year, this is only the third CN-112 I've seen in almost 40 years.
