Nice Panasonic RF-1006M portable radio from the late 60's. The radio measures 10 x 7/3 inches. Its in very good cosmetic condition. The FM band would only tune my local Public Radio station which is close by and the volume output was lower than on AM.
It would be a nice addition to vintage radio collection or for an automobile enthusiast from the time period. Everything is working on the radio including dial light. It powers up nicely with 4C batteries. The antenna is intact and the battery compartment clean.
Perhaps theres an adjustment internally that could improve this even more. The AM reception is very strong and I was also able to find a few shortwave stations as well. This required a special bracket that is not present with this particular radio.
